This course is aimed at those who would like to gain qualifications and experience in the logistics and warehousing sector and want to progress into employment in this area.

Patheway to Logistic courses are available in the following areas:
- North East region
- Non-devolved areas
19+yrs, unemployed, or employed and earning less than the threshold amount.
Must be a full time resident in the UK and meet other residency criteria
Initial Assessments in English and Maths and other eligibility checks will be carried out at enrolment.
This course will taught using a range of practical and theoretical units. Assessment criteria will include practical assessments, written assessments and the completion of a portfolio.
If you meet the entry requirement criteria, this course may be fully funded. Meaning you may not have to pay anything.
Portland Training may also be able to access a Learner Support Fund to offer financial support for learners who are facing financial hardship to help pay for things that are not covered in the course funding, such as travel to and from the course venue.

- Warehouse Operative
As part of this course, you will receive impartial advice and support as part of Portland Training’s ongoing Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) provision to enable you to make informed decisions on your future.
You will be assigned a designated Employment & Progression officer whose job it is to offer impartial support and guidance on your next steps. You will also receive ongoing employability training, including important training such as, interview techniques and CV writing.
We also work with a range of local employers to help our learners gain employment on completion of their course.
