Looking at core computing concepts and terminology to build a baseline understanding and prepare learners for the rest of the course.
Infrastructure
A comprehensive look at the computer eco-system to prepare learners with knowledge about how computers work, and how computers interact.
Applications and Software
Learners will be taught how to manage applications, understand operating system components, and learn about IT architecture methods.
Software Development Concepts
To get an understanding of software development it’s key concepts, learners will be taught about different programming language categories, logic, and fundamental programming concepts.
Data and Database Fundamentals
This topic touches on data usage, and teaches learners the fundamentals of managing data and databases. It will also touch on the impact of data.
Security
Learning the best practices for maintaining security for computers and networks, and why those best practices work to keep computers secure.
