Course Information
This course provides delegates with an understanding of the legal requirements of the CDM Regulations and how the role of each key duty holders (clients, Principal Designer, Principal Contractor, other contractors) applies during construction projects.
This course is suitable for Principal Designers looking for an update, site managers and agents, team leaders, supervisors, quantity surveyors, safety advisers, managers and anyone responsible for design work under CDM.
A certificate will be issued to each individual after successful completion of the course.
Course Outcomes
At the end of the course you will have an understanding of:
- Health & safety legislation in relation to the new regulations
- The requirements of direct and contract employment of construction workers
- Responsibilities of ‘Duty Holders’ in relation to the Regulations
- The requirements of Risk Assessment
- The skills to assist the organisation by influencing health, safety and welfare in construction projects
