CSCS Red Experienced Manager Card
A CSCS red experienced manager card is a construction industry qualification that allows holders to demonstrate their experience and commitment to health and safety in the workplace. It is a temporary card that lasts 3 years and is designed for people who have on-the-job experience as a manager or supervisor but are not a member of a professional body. It is a temporary card, while you take a relevant NVQ.
Who can apply for a CSCS red experienced manager card?
The CSCS red experienced manager card is for those which have been supervising or managing a company for at least 1 year, and are registered to complete a construction related NVQ, SVQ or equivalent qualification.
What are the requirements to get a red experienced manager card?
Applicants must have passed the appropriate level CITB Health, Safety and Environment test within the last 2 years. CSCS recognised NVQ/SVQ qualifications and the relevant HSE test level can be checked using the CSCS Card Finder.
Is a red experienced manager CSCS card permanent?
No, a red experienced manager CSCS card is not permanent. It is valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Afterwhich, cardholders are expected to apply for a skilled CSCS card.
