Our government-backed Skills Bootcamp initiative is crafted to equip individuals with valuable industry skills and recognised qualifications, guiding them back into the workforce with meaningful employment opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity to obtain their Green CSCS card and NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Licence at no cost, in addition to securing a guaranteed interview with a construction company.

Qualifications
Upon completion of our Skills Bootcamp in Construction, participants will receive a green CSCS Card and an NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Licence.
Green CSCS Card
A green CSCS card, or ‘labourer card’ is a physical card provided by the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) to prove that workers have the required qualifications, skills knowledge and health and safety awareness to work on a construction site. This is recognised by most construction employers as a valuable and necessary certification.
NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Licence
NPORS (National Plant Operators Registration Scheme) provide cards that allow the holder to operate plant machinery. The card is valid for five years and can be renewed. The NPORS certification system offers different tiers of accreditation, designed to equip individuals with the skills needed to operate a variety of machinery safely and efficiently.
Qualifications

Eligibility Criteria
To join Portland Training’s Skills Bootcamp in Construction, applicants must:
- Be aged 19 or above.
- Be unemployed and receiving government benefits.
- Reside full-time in the UK with the right to work.
- Undergo initial assessments in English and Maths (BKSB Assessment).
