CITB Grants & Funding

The CITB have recently increased their grant payments to be more in line with the cost of courses. If you are a member of the CITB and pay into their levy, you could be eligible to claim up to £600 for each NVQ qualification your employees undertake. This significantly reduces the cost of training. Here’s what you need to know about CITB grants and how Portland Training can support you in receiving them.

What is a CITB Grant?

The CITB pays grants for the achievement of approved short qualifications in core construction skills, these include NVQs at Level 2 and above. The qualifications can be delivered in a number of ways, including on-site practical assessments.
