Level 7 NVQ Construction Senior Site Management
The Level 7 NVQ Construction Senior Site Management qualification is aimed at those already working in at a senior site management level.
This qualification is ideal for experienced professionals working in the construction industry, such as senior site managers, project managers, construction directors, and contract managers. It is suitable for individuals who are already in managerial roles and have substantial experience in managing construction projects.
The assessment for the Senior Site Management Level 7 NVQ is carried out through on-site observations, professional discussions, and the compilation of a portfolio of evidence. An assessor will work closely with you to evaluate your competence and knowledge in various aspects of site management.
To achieve the qualification candidates must complete all 4 Mandatory units in plus a minimum of six other units from two optional groups.
The following units are mandatory for all the pathways:
– Manage teams in construction 7
– Lead and participate in meetings in construction management 5
– Provide ethical advice, judgement and service in construction
management
– Develop self and others in construction management
This qualification is competence-based, candidates must demonstrate the level of competence described in the units. Assessment is the process of measuring a candidate’s skill, knowledge and understanding against the standards set in the qualification.
The qualification will be assessed in line with the Construction Skills Consolidated Assessment Strategy and will be internally assessed by an appropriately experienced and qualified assessor.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. We will carry out an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment.
