Forklift Course

FreeThis forklift course is aimed at those who would like to gain qualifications and experience in Fork Lift Truck driving and want to progress into employment in this area. Learners will be able to obtain their forklift certification free of charge upon completion of this course.
Course Information
Our forklift course provides the learners’ knowledge of the working environment, with specific scenarios they may face when operating a Forklift Truck. Learners will gain vital skills such as writing accident reports, calculating load capacities and analysis of specific problems related to the job role.
The course offers full accredited training and testing on a counter-balance Forklift Truck that will enable the learners to achieve their FLT certificate and demonstrate their competence. On successful completion of the test, learners will receive a nationally recognised certificate in Forklift Truck Driving from the RTITB or ITSSAR (depending on location). This certificate is valid for three years.
Eligibility
- 19+yrs, unemployed and in receipt of government benefits or employed and earning less than the course location threshold amount. You can view these on the Forklift truck Course Page
- Must be a full-time resident in the UK.
- Initial Assessments in English and Maths and other eligibility checks will be carried out at enrolment.
When Does This Course Take Place?
Please note that this is not the official date for this course. One course will take place in this location per month. The official date will be communicated to you by a member of our team when you register your interest.
How Much Does This Course Cost?
If you meet the entry requirement criteria, this forklift course is fully funded. Meaning you do not have to pay anything.
