We’re happy to announce that Portland training’s Sheffield site has opened and ready for the Skills Bootcamps in construction course to take place! This site will be a great environment for people new to working in construction, providing them with the essential skills needed to work safely on construction sites.
Our Skills Bootcamps in Construction based in Sheffield and Wakefield are designed to equip individuals with valuable industry skills and recognised qualifications, boosting their overall employability skills when applying for jobs in the construction industry. Participants will have the opportunity to obtain their Green CSCS card and NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Licence at no cost, in addition to securing a guaranteed interview with a construction company.
What makes this site even more impressive is that we are next to Hamilton Plant, meaning that we can carry out Forward Tipping Dumper training with ease!
This site will be an amazing place for learners to experience working in a construction environment, as it offers a wide range of task based learning such as laying modular paving, setting out secondary dimensional work Control, using power tools, operating plant based machinery and many more! The site provides lots of space for learners to complete practical based work!
Our new Sheffield Site will provide us with even more opportunity to deliver the B.E.S.T training we can for our learners, ensuring that they can effectively learn new practical, and theoretical skills used in the construction industry.
